The Macquarie Boutique Hotel (MBH) is situated in the heart of Sydney, offering a unique pub stay experience. The hotel has completely been remodelled with a new micro-brewery - Schwartz Brewery - which opened in December 2004.

The MBH is heritage listed and has an extensive marble and woodwork interior, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone days. Sam the property's head brewer regularly runs 20 - 30 minute tours of the brewery where she shares her love of her job and beer. These tours take you around the various areas of the brewery from grain to glass.

Redoak Boutique Beer Caf is wholly Australian owned, developed and operated by sibling founders Janet and David Hollyoak. Its hand-crafted locally brewed beers are already proving popular with Sydney's premium beer lovers and visitors alike. Australia's most awarded boutique beer caf opened its doors in Sydney 2.5 years ago and serves a range of boutique premium beers accompanied by a menu of exquisite cuisine. Beer classes are run on the first Saturday every month. Guests are taken through a 2.5 hour dinner with matching beers while experiencing the history of beer, beer styles, brewing processes, beer appreciation and beer and food matching.

The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel, Est. 1841, is Sydney's oldest. The sandstone architecture is one of Australia's finest. All rooms permit beautiful views of the historic Rocks, the brasserie offers eclectic cuisine, and the ground floor bar is renowned for the six beers brewed in-house.
