Graham Cornes is a popular South Australian football hero. He is best known for his exploits on the football field, but today is heard daily on Adelaide radio. He's also a Channel Seven commentator for AFL. Graham served in Vietnam and after the war he resumed his footy career, eventually becoming the inaugural coach of the Adelaide Crows.
The Glenelg Tram is South Australia's only remaining operating Tram service and it runs along Glenelg's Jetty Road and into a cosmopolitan atmosphere of shopping, restaurants, entertainment and amusements that are open every day of the year, with markets every weekend along the foreshore.
Glenelg is Adelaide's most popular beach resort (especially in the summer). There is plenty of accommodation to choose from including apartments, hostels, hotels and motel accommodation, and a number of historic places of interest to visit. Glenelg is easily accessed from the centre of Adelaide, being only 20 minutes drive away. Along with local buses, the vintage Tram service leaves from Victoria Square and takes passengers right to Glenelg beach.
Sammy's on the Marina is without doubt Adelaide's premier Seafood Restaurant, with the most spectacular views of Glenelg Beach and the Marina. Lunch with the dolphins which can be seen each day playing in the water at the Marina.
