There are seven marked walking trails ranging from 1/2 hour to 5 hours return (Rawnsley Bluff) that wind through the station, revealing abundant wildlife, birdlife and local native plants. The tracks are also great for exploring on horse-back, or on two wheels on a mountain-bike.
Another way to see the spectacular Wilpena Pound is to get a bird's eye view from the air. Twenty, thirty and forty-five minute scenic flights are provided by Central Air Services, direct from Rawnsley Park Station.
As well as Wilpena Pound, you can fly over Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, take a five-hour Lake Eyre Explorer flight or a full-day Arkaroola Adventure and marvel at the scenery of Australia's amazing Flinders Ranges.
