The Macedon Ranges, also known as the Spa Country is located at the end of the Great Dividing Range. The Macedon Ranges region was formed by ancient volcanic activity and was originally settled by the 19th century gold rush. Hanging Rock Take a guided tour with park ranger Guido & learn about the mystery of Hanging Rock. Hanging Rock reserve is also a great place for walking, exploring, playing tennis or cricket, fishing and climbing. And of course picnicking! Entrance to the park starts from $10 per car.
