The Cape to Cape Track weaves through the landscape passing sea cliffs, underground caves, lagoons, award-winning wineries, historical sites, small coastal settlements and solitary peaks. The trail follows a limestone ridge, which rests on ancient granite bedrock. The ridge stretches 120km in length and varies from 5-10km in width, and runs from Cape Naturalist to Cape Leeuwin, or lighthouse to lighthouse.

There are several ways to do the walk. You can do it all by yourself, but some places are isolated and a vehicle pick up is required. The other way is to do bits and pieces of the main track and smaller circuit walks only. If you want to experience the entire walk, Merribrook Retreat takes day walks, 2 day walks, and even the whole 6 day walk. Whichever way you choose, you'll be dropped off and escorted back to Merribrook each day.

Following the "Leave no Trace" guidelines, the quality of your walk is enhanced by Merribrook's 20 years of professional guiding experience. At all times their aim is to minimise impact on this pristine coastal and forest environment.
