Are their monsters in the deep?

Mention the words "Loch Ness" and the mystery of its resident monster Nessie is sure to spark some interest and intrigue...Is there really a monster down there, hiding in the dark depths of the famous loch?

Perhaps one of the most famous names from Scotland, the Loch Ness monster is well-known all over the world. And there's nothing more intriguing than a long-standing legend, a myth, and a mystery that is surrounded by "theories" that no-one can provide an answer for.

If you're looking for good clues and evidence though, a great place to start is at the Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition. Based at Drumnadrochit, this exhibition shares scientific findings that are explained in user friendly terms for all to understand. Visitors are invited to weigh up the research results, eye witness accounts, fact & figures, along with recent scientific discoveries, and make up their own minds about Nessie's existence.
