A great place to stay at Oahu, Hawaii is the Outrigger Reef Hotel. You'll find plenty of diversions at Outrigger Reef - the poolside cafe and bar, the relaxing Serenity Spa and an array of specialty shops and beachfront restaurants. You can also visit Duke's Canoe Club during cocktail hour.

The Canoe Club is named after the surfing legend, Duke Kahanamoka. The Duke was the true essence of Hawaii and surfing and the ambassador of Aloha. The large pool deck is a great spot to relax or you can step on to the beach for a surfing lesson, catamaran sail or outrigger canoe ride.

And every day of the week you can celebrate aloha with a variety of activities: string a fragrant flower lei, strum an ukulele, visit with artisans and their native crafts, or enjoy performances of hula and Hawaiian song.

Head to the beachfront for a class called 'Rhythms of the Ocean'. Rhythms of the Ocean, a daily exercise class, keeps you fit with graceful hula motions.

Hawaii, USA
The Hula is Hawaii's National Dance and it's about spirituality and movement. The dance was banned by the missionaries when they came to Hawaii because the dance was considered to provocative. King Kalakowa, the 'Merry Monarch' brought the dance back and the Hawaiians have been dancing the Hula ever since!

Waikiki Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world. Waikiki Beach is usually very crowded so if you want more personal space and bigger waves you should head to the North Shore, where the good surf is only 1 hours drive away.

Haleiwa is what they call the gateway to the North Shore and while here you should visit Resurrection City. Ron Artis is the artist at Resurrection City and is also a father of 11! Ron makes a masterpiece out of surfboards, surfers who can't bear to part with their broken surfboards bring them to Ron.

If there is one surf beach that's more famous than any other it's Sunset Beach. This beach is where the best surfers battle it out from November to February every year for part of what they call the Triple Crown.
